Embedding Open Science in Research and Teaching
Open science practices are increasingly recognised as essential for robust, credible, and reproducible research in psychology. Still, resistance and lack of knowledge/awareness of principles and practices are sometimes observed across academic and scientific contexts, which might otherwise provide great benefits and improve the quality of research processes and outputs. This event, organised in association with Brunel University London, Queen's University Belfast, and Nottingham Trent University considers how and why we should support the implementation of open science in research and teaching practices.
Speakers include
Dr Bianca De Haan, Associate Dean (Student Experience) and Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Brunel University London
Dr Joost Dessing, Senior Lecturer and Open Science Lead at the School of Psychology, Queen's University Belfast
Dr Liam Cahill, Lecturer in Psychology and member of the UK Reproducibility Network
