The BSPID Big Project
Proposals
Here is a place to declare your interest in proposing or contributing to a BSPID Big Project.
The BSPID committee will review the submissions for projects in terms of their feasibility, efficiency, and thematic relevance for the BSPID mission. We will endeavour to support as many projects as we can, including combining projects where possible. Projects we can support will be invited to further meetings to discuss the project and how BSPID can support the project.
As part of our commitment to Open Science, ideally submissions will be suitable for Registered Reports (or at least pre-registration). It is expected that the projects will provide open data, analysis code and (copyright permitting) materials on the Open Science Framework. It is our hope that the materials from a Big Project might be of use to other individual differences researchers and teaching about methodology in individual differences.
A non-exhaustive list of potential themes for submissions can be found below. We welcome a broader range of projects, but these might give you some ideas.
● A replication of an important personality or individual differences study
● Individual differences in social interaction, mental health, and wellbeing
● Applied individual differences, societal impact, and post-COVID recovery.
● Any other individual differences projects are welcome
