Please use this form below to submit your conference abstract for the 15th BSPID Annual Meeting at Queens University Belfast (Friday 16th May 2025).

If not accepted for an Oral Presentation, you may be given the option to present your work as a Poster. All Oral and Poster presentations by ECRs will be assessed by the Conference Organising Committee and the top 2 in each category will be put forward for the Prize Competition.

We offer three main types of presentation at BSPID conferences. Poster presentations - An A0 printed summary of your research for discussion with the conference attendees. 5 minute 'data blitz' - designed for those who have an idea or data and would like to efficiently summarise their current activities. Particularly useful for PhD students or those looking for collaborators. 15 minute presentations - the classic conference presentation with time for more details on background, method and implications.

Uploading presentations to the Open Science Framework

In line with growing focus on transparency and openness in psychology, we will create an Open Science Framework page (osf.io) for BSPID2020. This page will host the programme and speakers' presentations. This page will be timestamped and have a doi so that the presentations can be cited and accessed after the meeting. Our aim is to increase the accessibility of BSPID meetings, so that even those who cannot attend or those who want to later cite presentations can do so easily. We will also be able to download speaker's slide-based presentations from the OSF on the day, to save on email or USB transfer of presentations.
